Innovative Pet Lab is a pet health diagnostics company offering at-home canine gut health tests designed to help pet parents uncover and address microbiome imbalances. Their products give dog owners science-backed insights to improve digestion, allergies, and overall wellness.

Challenge:
Innovative Pet Lab needed a more strategic, targeted approach to their email marketing. Their existing newsletters lacked segmentation, and their one-size-fits-all messaging wasn’t fully converting subscribers into customers.
Instead of refreshing their old emails, I proposed an entirely new concept and structure, one that delivered bite-sized education, clear product pathways, and a stronger emotional connection. I then wrote multiple newsletters and targeted campaigns tailored to different customer segments, from new subscribers to returning buyers.
The challenge was to:
- Improve open rates and click-through rates using clearer hierarchy, upgraded CTAs, and more personalized content
- Craft an email system that felt educational, not overwhelming
- Maintain a friendly, science-forward tone aligned with the brand
- Drive readers to specific product pages without sounding “salesy”
Results:
The redesigned newsletters and targeted campaign approach led to measurable performance gains.

- Sales increased, with more readers clicking directly to product pages from the redesigned newsletters
